Western corn rootworm.
Small beetle, 5-6 mm long, with a basic pale greenish-yellow body coloration. The larvae are wrinkled, yellowish-white, with a brown head capsule. It is a major crop pest on maize (Zea mays). It has been repeatedly introduced to Europe from North America in the early 1990's and spreads rapidly.
